Camping proved a popular option at  Forest Fest 2022 last summer. So much so, that it was completely sold out in advance.

While we want to try and accommodate as many music fans as possible who wish to stay over and camp for the festival weekend, Forest Fest is a boutique event and numbers are limited.

As with all other aspects of the festival we will be looking to hone and enhance, to improve where possible our camping and overall festival experience.

The camping offering went down very well this year, and we will be building on that.

Key to that success is a safe and secure site, with 24/7 friendly security staff: easy and convenient access, on solid dry terrain within safe and easy walking distance of the main festival arena.

The camping overall is very family friendly, and space permitting for next year, we will endeavour to have a designated family camping zone within the camping area, if possible.

For Forest Fest2 we are delighted to partner with Pitched Perfect, to add glamping to our camping offering.

So, in terms of camping there will be camping for tents, motorhomes/campervans, caravans and now glamping for those who want that added comfort and convenience.

Glamping in partnership with Pitched Perfect

The glamping facilities and support services will be provided by the vastly experienced and immensely popular Pitched Perfect, who partner with us and some of the other leading established festivals in the country.

To avail of the glamping, upgrade you must first purchase a Forest Fest Weekend Glamping ticket and then go to the Pitched Perfect website and choose the glamping option of your preference. They offer a full spectrum of convenience and comfort right up to high-end luxury glamping ranging in cost from €200 to €1200 for the weekend. The glamping provision will include a Chill Out Zone and a Pamper Parlour, including phone charging facilities.

Weekend Camping

Camping at Forest Fest2 is a weekend offering and judging by the demand at our inaugural event this summer the camping spaces are likely to sell out again.

The service provision at the festival camping includes free hot showers, toilets, freshwater points, 24/7 security, waste bins and cassette disposal. The campsites are secure, monitored and maintained right throughout the weekend. There are also coffee docks, snacks, and light refreshments available at the campsites.

The festival arena itself has a superb and wide ranging food, high quality food court with at least 15 various food stalls, bars, craft beers and refreshments available each day from midday until midnight.

At our first Forest Fest earlier this summer those who camped were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the standard and level of services available, for a temporary weekend campsite.

No dogs, no EHU, no BBQs

Campers should note that there is no electrical hook up (EHU) and no dogs, or barbecues are permitted on health & safety grounds. The campsites are all within a few minutes easy walking distance of the festival arena and are well lit up at night in the interests of safety.

Only those with Weekend Camping tickets are permitted access to the campsites.

All adults camping require a Weekend Camping Ticket for either tent, campervan/motorhome or caravan… or glamping if you are planning to opt for that upgrade. This is slightly different system than for this year’s festival and it is to ensure secure and safe access to the camping zones, as well as sustaining our high standard of services for campers.

For example, if there are four adults (over 18) staying in the campervan, then all four require Weekend Campervan Tickets. The charge for weekend camping is very fair and works out at less than €10 per night per adult. There’s no charge for children 12 and under and they also go free to the festival, once accompanied by an adult with a Weekend Ticket.

When you are at the check-out for your ticket purchase it is a required field to nominate if you are bringing children or not to the festival. There is an option to designate for no children, but we are required under our licence to have an accurate headcount for all attendees at Forest Fest, including children.  This is also a child safety protocol.

Forest Fest is an over 18’s event.
