Darren Roche & Cillian Doheny

Limerick natives Darren Roche & Cillian Doheny grew up playing music with each other in their early teens. Having first met at Willie Clancy week, the pair have had several collaborative encounters over the years at Irish traditional music festivals & fleadh cheoils throughout Ireland.

Doheny & Roche’s most notable venture is Moxie, an Alt Irish folk band that have successfully forged a progressive Irish style of new music since 2011.

Both musicians hold several All-Ireland titles to their name on various different instruments, have toured several continents over the last 15 years and are highly accomplished performers, composers & arrangers of original Irish music.
