Welcome to Forest Fest a brand new boutique music & arts festival based in the picturesque Laois village of Emo.
Forest Fest is aimed at a discerning audience, our objective to ensure a quality, close-up, close quarters, quality gig experience with numbers at each show strictly limited.
A summertime party atmosphere will bring dancing to the crossroads of Emo for the weekend of July 10 to 12. Our plan is for you the fans to be at the heart of this event.
You provide the rhythm, we’ll provide the beat…and the tasty craft beers, the fabulous food, the classy cocktails, and the cracking tunes.
The venue for Forest Fest is at the cross roads in Emo Village and at the cross roads of Ireland, only 10 minutes from the towns of Portlaoise, Portarlington and Mountmellick and literally up the road from the neighbouring village of Killenard and its prestigious resort, the Heritage Hotel at Killenard, our accommodation partners.
The forest skyline in the spectacular parklands of the iconic heritage house at Emo Court just across the road from our venue is what inspires our festival name and logo.
Forest Fest is pleased to recommend our accommodation partner, The Heritage, Killenard.
The Heritage Hotel and Spa Resort Killenard is a spectacular and luxurious property only minutes away from the Forest Fest venue at nearby Emo village.
The Heritage is the ideal base for your weekend getaway and a perfect place to start your intimate and quality Forest Fest experience.
For a selection of other superb accommodation options suitable for festival goers we are pleased to refer you to comfort and convenience of the full array of choices open to you from Laois Tourism.
