Intercom Heights is where modern indie cool meets cinematic nostalgia—an electric blend of gauzy guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and dual vocals that echo both past and present. The Austin, Texas based duo, Harris Thurmond (guitar, vocals) and Josie Fluri (bass, vocals), draw inspiration from shoegaze and dream pop icons while carving a sleek, modern edge all their own.

Their 2023 debut album, Night Measures, introduced a sound bathed in reverb and neon—introspective, hazy, and quietly anthemic. With swirling guitars and wistful melodies, the record found its place in the hearts of late-night romantics and vinyl-heads alike.

Now, with their upcoming release Transmitter set for summer 2025, and the already released singles Hold You Up, Transmitter and Consequences, Intercom Heights sharpens their signal. The new songs pulse with urgency and atmosphere, layering analog textures and minimalist grooves with a more confident, widescreen vision.
