Jack Gladney

Jack, a gifted singer-songwriter from Co. Carlow, is known for his unique blend of modern folk and traditional Irish music. Growing up, Jack was immersed in the sounds of iconic artists such as Christy Moore, Mary Black, Seán Keane, and The High Kings, which deeply influenced his musical style.

Jack’s rich tonal qualities have earned him a place on stages across Ireland and the Globe including prestigious events and festivals such as Whelans, The Workman’s Club, Electric Picnic, Sitges Live – a Catalan and Irish music festival just south of Barcelona and various venues across the United States of America including the iconic Grand Ole Opry.

Jack’s talent also shone in competitive areas, having competed in the Fleadh Cheoil at All Ireland level and being crowned Scór Sinsir All-Ireland Champion in 2020. Jack has supported renowned artist Derek Ryan and had the honour of preforming for Irish President Micheal D Higgins and US President Joe Biden alongside Music Generation Carlow’s Senior Trad Ensemble ‘Reelig’ where Jack spent his teenage years developing his talent at a high standard. His music bridges the gap between contemporary and traditional, creating a sound that has resonated and currently resonates with diverse audiences across the globe.
