Jobseekerz

The Jobseekerz come from Cavan and began playing music since 2015 playing shows in the local region and finding their sound.

We play an Alternate Rock, Rap, and Funk blend that they describe as Electric Gyp-Hop (Sham-rock). Listeners often compare this to the likes of the Beastie Boys and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

In 2019 we released our debut EP Social Hellfare at KnockanStockan Festival 2019.

In 2023 we released our debut album “Unemployable” and have been releasing the songs as singles through 2023/2024.

2025 sees the band celebrate there 10th anniversary by attempting to undertake a tour of Irelands 32 counties with shows lined up for The Academy, Cyprus Avenue and Forest fest to name a few.

The band are notorious for their energetic live shows, stage-presence, humour and crowd interaction. The variety and mood changes during the set along with the social commentary about the good and bad of living in small town Ireland.
