Hi there Forest Fest fans,
It’s been a hectic week since Forest Fest togged out in our tux to collect the Best Festival accolade at the Midland Hospitality Awards. The plaudits are all down to you, as for us, it’s the fans and performers that make Forest Fest such a success, so thank you so much!
We have been busy too behind the scenes and have some important updates and a heads up for our fanbase.
We can confirm that our first line-up reveal will come this weekend and what a bill it’s going to be, with plenty more big names, Irish talent, and emerging acts in the pipeline.
The initial line-up reveal will bring a close to our discounted Early Bird Weekend Ticket offering, which is still available up until Friday morning for €180 for the entire weekend. Once the weekend tickets go on general release, they will go up to €190 (plus booking fees) and will remain at that price point as we make further announcements in the run up to Christmas and into the new year.
We will be announcing over 15 acts this Friday which reflect the energy, entertainment and eclectic mix that marks out the Forest Fest ethos. You’re going to love the first taste of what we have to offer and there’s even more exciting acts in store…
We don’t believe bigger is better, we believe in delivering better, listening better, and responding better to the feedback from our loyal fans.
Day tickets are fully transferable at no extra cost
To that end, we are also announcing the availability from this weekend of day tickets for Forest Fest2. Lots of you have already secured your tickets and committed to the weekend of festivities in Emo village next summer. But others for a variety of reasons, whether family, work, or other demands, cannot be certain of making the full 3-days of music, arts, and entertainment next July.
Ideal Christmas Present
In the Forest Fest spirit of access, affordability, and maximum flexibility for fans we have decided to make an early call on providing day tickets for each day of the festival next summer. These will cost €85 (plus booking) and will make for an ideal Christmas present.
To ensure that you get to see all your favourite bands we are making all day tickets inter-changeable and transferable (right up to the next July) at no additional cost or fee. This will be a user friendly-self-service facility on our website, so you can purchase your day tickets with confidence and in the knowledge that you can switch days, if you prefer different bands or to join up with your family and friends.
The weekend tickets and the weekend camping options remain popular with many of our fans for tents, campervans, caravans and of course the glamping upgrade that’s available this year in partnership with our friends at Pitched Perfect.
Tickets can also be upgraded at any time
Remember that you can also upgrade your day ticket, or your weekend ticket, to a Weekend Ticket or Weekend Camping. There are no additional fees on these transactions, you just pay the price differential, e.g., from Weekend Ticket to Weekend Camping, or from day ticket to Weekend Ticket. These upgrades will be facilitated via Eventbrite with no additional booking fees or charges. We will also advise and support any ticket transfers or upgrades via our website www.forestfest.ie
Camping will only be available as a weekend option, due to its popularity and limited capacity.
As part of our family-friendly ethos, children 12 and under, go entirely free when accompanied by adults. Forest Fest is otherwise an over-18 event, and all fans planning to camp require the appropriate Weekend Camping ticket option…. camping, campervan, and caravan, with a glamping upgrade option available once you have a Weekend Glamping Ticket, purchased initially from the Forest Fest platform, which then permits you to upgrade to your glamping choice with Pitched Perfect.
