From the moment we buy our tickets the anticipation starts. When we cross over those festival gates it’s like we are being transformed to that safe place. No more anxiety, no more thoughts about our future, no more thoughts about our past, just in the moment and relishing every second. There is no happier place than being with your friends, your family, new acquaintances and smashing live music.
Forest Fest is shaping up to be one of the hottest gigs this summer with the likes of The Stunning, The Waterboys, Damien Dempsey, Paddy Casey, Soda Blonde, Greenshine, Thumper, Hermitage Green, The Riptide Movement and many more.
After finally coming out of our social distancing restrictions over the past couple of years this is an opportunity to connect with our tribe. Nights that turn into morning and friends that turn into family, it is just one huge positive vibe that uplifts ourselves, our community, improves our well being and just makes life better for all who attend.
Music is indeed the healing herb and the heart of every festival and Forest Fest 2022 promises to deliver on all fronts. This year’s event has an excellent cross section of genres from Thumper and the Stunning to get your heart pumping to Greenshine for a cool down. With over 45 performers on three stages, performance art of all kinds, drum circles, kids activities from the Port Art Collective and lots of delicious artisan food and drink we will not lack for variety and appeal for everyone and every age.
This is going to be one magical weekend at the Forest Fest inaugural event, one not to be missed and forever to remember.
